Med schools typically require students to devote a certain number of courses (or a number of semesters or, as is the case with UChicago, “quarters”) to specific courses. Therefore, as long as you complete the required courses/number of quarters–and do well in them–you’re free to fill the rest of your schedule with whatever you want.

In August 2015, I enrolled at San Antonio’s St. I enjoyed my psychology courses during the first semester of college even though AP Psychology was not offered at ABC Private School. This winter, after my first semester in New Jersey, I visited the 40 Acres. This semester has been the most eye-opening of my life.
