Following an announcement by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) , the ACT will replace the SAT as the state’s high school accountability assessment. PSAT/NMSQT is no longer required. expires at the end of the 2029-2020 school year. The ACT will be digital. The contract will expire in six years.
