For the Class of 2026, the middle 50% of admitted students either received between 1510-1570 on the SAT or 34-36 on the ACT. You may have noticed that some in the middle 50% received a perfect score on the ACT, meaning over 25% of admitted students received a perfect score on the ACT.

Just like getting top academic tutors, parents often hire top SAT/ACT tutors to help their students. This is important for Dartmouth given that for the class of 2024 (the last year scores were required), the median SAT score for admitted students was 1520. It wasn't much different for the ACT.

Almost every legacy student we have worked with has also worked with an academic tutor or three. Score Score Score For the Class of 2026, the middle 50% of accepted applicants received 34-36 on the ACT or 1510-1560 on the SAT. Think of it this way, over 25% of the accepted students who took the ACT got a perfect score.
