Here are some highlights: Duke received a record 54,191 applications, bringing the University’s overall acceptance rate this year to 5.1%, a record low. It also marks a nearly 35% increase in applications from two years ago, when applications numbered 15,160. Northeastern’s applications have jumped 53% in just five years.
