My favorite finding from the college admissions commentary archives comes from January 7, 1979, with a refreshingly honest headline: “ An Admissions Man Says It Isn’t So Hard. ” The Admissions Man is Richard M. Moll, a former Harvard and Yale admissions reviewer and then Director of Admissions at Vassar.
