Even if you enter with credits from AP Biology, we recommend completing two biology courses with a lab component. The Chemistry department only accepts AP credit for placement purposes. If you’re interested in pursuing a concentration in Engineering, you can take ENGN 0040 and ENGN 0510 to satisfy the physics requirement.

In addition to the MD program’s courses, you’ll also have to take the MPH program's core courses, 42 semester hours of electives, and concentration courses unique to the MD-MPH track. It’s important to note that any AP credits you have will not reduce the biology or physics coursework you need.
