Although this year AP tests were “non-traditional”, many colleges have said that they will still award AP credit ( see this list by Prompt ). AP scores will be available online beginning July 15. Additionally, your college may use these scores for placement purposes.

Days before the start of the school year, the Arkansas Department of Education announced AP African American Studies is no longer a state-approved course. A handful of high schools will offer the course as a local elective credit. However, because the ADE won't recognize the course, it won't fulfill that responsibility.

The college needs your official AP scores to award you any college credit. Additionally, your college may use these scores for placement purposes. Even if you do not receive credit, it’s important to send your official score report. Check with your college to confirm their policy on awarding AP credit.

My mom and I scheduled a trip to South Orange a month later for the accepted student orientation. I especially like the internship requirement and career placement resources. The many AP credits I accrued in high school may be a disadvantage, as I know that UT prefers students with fewer hours.
