I imagine application numbers will continue to fall, though this may be intentional, as the COVID balloon in applications at highly selective schools was mainly due to students who may have been out of range with testing, deciding to submit applications test-optional.

What’s the difference between test-optional and test-blind? Test-optional colleges will consider SAT and ACT scores if they’re sent. Test-blind colleges do not accept standardized test scores from any applicants. Test-blind schools have historically not been included in the U.S.
