In January, Cal Poly Humboldt's prison education program was the first in the country to be approved for Pell Grant funding.

Most Widely Available Programs in Women's Prisons The Alliance for Higher Education in Prison found that most degrees offered in all CIP programs are associate degrees, followed by bachelor's degrees at less than half the number.
