In the first 3 1/2 months of 2023, there have been over 400 pieces of anti-trans legislation at the state level. Currently (as of March 5, 2023), there are 432 bills geared toward anti-trans legislation in 41 states. So, I think, first and foremost, you must find schools that are in safe states and that openly accept queer students.
