My experience tells me that regardless of where our children are, in terms of school or job, returning to routine is a very good and yet potentially disastrous thing. For my peeps that have kids in college, you know what I’m talking about. If you don’t yet have kids in college, here’s a snapshot: Draw a triangle and place these three words at each angle – Study, Sleep and Social.

Letters of Recommendation When Why How Much has been written about Letters of Recommendation (Rec Letters) but here’s the skinny on what you really need to know. I encourage my students to make their teacher(s) and high school counselor requests at the end of their junior year. Students must confirm a viable email address for their recommenders, so as to follow up with them over the summer months.

Santa Clara University www.scu.edu/ugrad One of my best friend’s daughters is a recent graduate of Santa Clara University. She had an amazing 4 years (yes, she graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 4 years) and is now gainfully employed in Florida. I won’t bore you with the details of the video Snapchats she used to send me, showing off her remotely powered robots, but I will tell you that my recent visit to Santa Clara confirmed her experience.
