Competitive test scores include: PSAT Math : 740+ PSAT Reading and Writing : 700+ ACT Math : 33+ ACT Verbal : 34+ While theres no minimum grade requirement for RSI, we recommend near-perfect grades in STEM subjects to strengthen your application. Internationalstudents must also take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), IELTS (International English Language Testing System), or the Duolingo English test. If you are applying to 11 th grade, 12 th grade or PG (Post Graduate) years, you can usually submit any SAT, ACT, PSAT, or SSAT score.
For the PSAT: MIT recommends that you have scores of 740 or higher in Math and 700 or higher in EBRW. Incidentally, if you’re on the fence about which test to take, MIT recommends taking the PSAT. For the PSAT, the recommended minimum score is 740+ in Math and 700+ in EBRW. MIT also takes high school grades into consideration.
Starting in March 2024, students in the U.S. who take the SAT will take it digitally, and internationalstudents began taking the digital SAT in March 2023. Additionally, the PSAT will go digital in October of this year. Students will get their scores in days rather than weeks. No more answer sheets and #2 pencils.
You may need to create a CSS login and password, but if you already have a College Board sign-in for AP tests , the PSAT , or the SAT , you can use that to log in.
