WISE offers mentorship, networking opportunities, and workshops to help you thrive in traditionally male-dominated fields. Mentorship programs connect you with faculty or older students who can guide you through challenges such as picking the right courses or balancing your workload.
This gives students more chances to interact with faculty outside of the classroom, allowing for continued mentorship and intellectual exchange. In fact, the university has a Yale Alumni Mentorship Program , where alumni can mentor one another and/or current students. The colleges also have faculty fellows.
As such, this degree program seeks educators that would like to continue their education with an emphasis on how to integrate sociological understanding of macro-level inequality in their teaching and mentorship pedagogy. She paid off her micro-loan in two months! years of work for me.
